October Just Got Cooler

Leaves are turning vibrant shades of red and orange, the humidity is falling, leaving a slight chill in the air, and cute little pumpkin people are showing up on neighborhood doorsteps — these are just a few of the things we’re grateful for this bright and beautiful October.

And even though temperatures have fallen below the 80 degree mark, we’re still happy to feel the warmth of the sun radiating down on us at our multiple locations across the city! We’re all for the crisp air of fall, but these warmer temperatures sure make for great ice cream sandwich eating weather — especially with our spookily scrumptious new flavors of the month!

This October, we’ve got two exciting flavors hitting the streets! The first is the Thai Fighter, a sweet and spicy sam bursting with flavors of chocolate, coconut, and chili! This heat-filled sandwich combines curried coconut cookies with chocolate chili ice cream that will leave your taste buds reeling. It’s the perfect choice for spicing up your afternoon routine, and an exciting complement to any autumn chai latte.

Our second flavor of the month is Jack, a very special Melt Bakery twist on classic fall flavors. This no-brainer sam combines molasses cookies with pumpkin pie ice cream to lift your spirits and get you in the Halloween spirit, no Hocus Pocus marathons necessary (though we wouldn’t object!). Full of sweetness, spice, and nostalgia, this ice cream sandwich is the perfect thing to snack on when treating yourself to a decadent PSL.

And it’s not just new flavors that are making headlines here at Melt! We’ve been full steam ahead with events and other fun activities!

So far this month, we’ve been at Comic Con and National Pickle Day. These were truly remarkable events where we had a lot of laughs, made a lot of friends, and even saw some familiar faces! But that’s not all we’ve got on the docket for the month of October.

On October 28th, we’ll be at Haunted High Line Halloween! Come learn about the history of the High Line, and snack on some delicious ice cream sams while you’re at it.

If you can’t make it to any of these events, as always, you can find us at our two storefront locations at 132 Orchard Street and 111 Front street. We’ll also be at Urbanspace Garment District until the 27 of October, and at Urbanspace Broadway Bites until November 4! Don’t miss out on a chance to try our flavors of the month, or any of our classics.
