Brrrrr-eaking News from Melt Bakery

Happy December, fellow ice cream sam lovers! Can you believe the year is almost over? We sure can’t! I guess time really does fly when you’re having fun (and when at least 50% of your diet is cookies and ice cream… wait, is that 50% each!?).

Just because it’s getting colder doesn’t mean our love for chilly treats has disappeared. On the contrary! Can you think of a better snack to pair with a warm hot chocolate and twinkling lights? Our sams are the perfect festive treat. Swing by our LES or DUMBO location to snag a sandwich or two the next time you head out to one of the holiday markets decorating the city this winter.

But there really have been a lot of changes in the air recently — the temperatures are falling, there’s snow in the forecast, and we’re bringing back an old fan-favorite to kick the holiday season here at Melt Bakery into high gear!

Last winter, we started a “Make Your Own Sams” activity at our 132 Orchard storefront - the ultimate ice cream sandwich heaven. So we couldn’t resist bringing it back again for another season! Stop by 132 Orchard Street where we’ll be offering made-to-order sandwiches using our decadent ice creams and warm, freshly baked cookies! Or, if you’re only a little peckish, grab a warm cookie or two on its own!

These “Make Your Own Sams” are available for $6, and they’re regular size only. We’ll have a rotating variety of five or six flavors of ice cream that you lucky ice cream sam superstars can mix and match.

We’re also offering a new delivery pack option — Party Packs! These packs are delivered in a cool and efficient cooler perfect for big events. They’re easy to handle and quickly open up to a simple and sweet serving container. If you’ve got a big event coming up, these babies ship overnight so it won’t take long to enter ice cream heaven.

They’ll be available to order in two sizes — 25 regular sized sams or 50 minis; and 50 regular sized sams or 100 minis. Get them in any mixture of our flavors that you want! As long as we’ve got them in stock, you’ll have them for your event. Prices for these Party Packs range from $190 to $315. We’re really excited about these Party Packs and can’t wait to start sending them out!

Now it’s time for a fun fact! Did you know that you can actually get warmer by eating ice cream? It’s true, honest!
